Spread the Word - Treasury Launches Savings Contest for Kids!

The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Ready.Save.Grow. campaign is sponsoring a photo and video essay contest for students in grades K - 12. Those who enter will have a chance to win a virtual classroom visit from Treasurer of the United States Rosie Rios!

The "Save Out Loud" Contest kicked off today on Facebook, and is open to individuals or teachers submitting on behalf of their students. Savings stories should reveal what students are saving for, why saving is important to them, their progress, and more. Students have two ways to enter:

*Note: Parents must enter on behalf of children under 13, and give consent for children 13 and above. Teachers may also submit an entry on behalf of students or a group (up to six members) with parental permission.
