Credit scoring was introduced in the 70's and is normal in the credit industry. Now, this new training program helps professionals calculate certain financial facts and then determine an individual's URSLA = Unbiased Resource Sustainability Age. The answer is the concept behind the WHEN-Score™ which determines the age to which an individual's financial resources will last, based on a variety of factors individuals can control in their life.
As a credit score is a way of measuring an individual's creditworthiness without requiring access to their income history or employment status, the WHEN-Score™ formula asks individuals to answer relevant questions about their day-to-day finances and plans for the future. The end result is the URSLA™; the age to which they know with a 90% probability their financial resources will last.

As a CURE™ Trained professional, you learn to use a lead system which starts with the gift of financial clarity. The gift you give potential clients is a free WHEN-Score™.
Giving people this free tool allows them to play on their own but also gives you a notification that the person is using your gift. You are able to contact the individual with an offer of help and support - sharing your new skills and opening the door for a long term client relationship.

The WHEN-Score™ measures resource longevity; i.e. the age, with a 90% probability, an individual's financial resources will last given what they are doing today, planning, saving and spending today. The score is an easily understandable age, versus a credit score which requires a person to know the scoring system to determine if they are in a good or bad range.
WHEN-Score™ calculations are part of the training and education included in a new program from the Institute of Consumer Financial Education (ICFE), called CURE™. CURE stands for Certified URSLA™ Reviewer and Educator.
The purpose of CURE™ training is, since many people may find it difficult to face the financial realities of their life, they will now have a CURE™ partner in the journey. This partner is trained in a non-judgmental way of working with them to find their initial When-Score™ or URSLA (the score as an AGE) then help them see practical and beneficial ways in which they might want to look at what they are doing or planning to do so they can extend their WHEN-Score™.
The CURE™ program includes an Independent Study Guide with five modules, "Ten Weeks to Financial Awakening", software, marketing aids, downloads, a new book, "Stepping Stones to Success" and a 100 question examination.
CURE™ studies interrelationships of employment, debt, mortgage, savings, health care, expected retirement spending that result in scoring one's financial longevity and enhances communication with clients. The URSLA™ score, which is the client's age, with a 90 percent probability, to which an individual's financial resources may last. A CURE™ trained professional helps clients learn how to answer important questions about key life decisions based on one's financial longevity. It will not be long before the URSLA™ score will be to retirement planning what the FICO© score is to the credit industry.
